Water Bongs

A water pipe, hookah, argileh, shisha, or bong is a device used commonly for smoking, usually Tobacco (and less frequently Marijuana or other substances), in which smoke is bubbled through a chamber containing water. The bong enables the operator to smoke in a manner very different to what is possible with a simple smoking pipe or spliff (joint). Most bongs are designed to either cool the smoke before it enters the operators lungs (mouthpiece), build up a large buffer of smoke which the user inhales quickly, or both. The word bong derives from the Thai word baung which refers to a cut off section of bamboo.

Bubblers

A bubbler is a small bong that can be operated with only one hand (aside from having to provide an ignition source). In these devices the stem is internal and the bowl is at the very top. A majority of the bong is enclosed with only a hole in the side to act as the carb and the hole the smoke will exit on its way to the operator. These operate very much like a pipe since their internal chamber is so small but they have identical parts to a common bong. Some find them more pleasant to smoke out of than a regular pipe.

The more smoke you'll get, the more of off your head you'll get... For a more mellow smoke, pick a smaller one. The Chillum is a pipe used by Indian sadhu, as well as Rastas of Jamaica. For them smoking a Chillum is always better than smoking a cigarette: its faster and they dont need any tobacco.

Sliders (slides, bowls)

Slider or stem is the part of bong whitch sits in the base and pokes out of the chamber at a degree higher than the water level. It holds the conepiece/bowl and enables smoke to pass through the water when in use. The stem collects resin over time which can clog the stem, and reduce the air flow through the water. All our conepieces (bowls) have double glass walls for better heat resistance.
